Cat Was Rescued After Being Thrown Out Of A Moving Car. Now He Can’t Stop Kissing His New Mom
Honeycake the cat had a rough start to life. He was sadly thrown out of a moving car, and eventually picked up by a Good Samaritan who brought him to a shelter.
Unfortunately, the shelter had a deadline for Honeycake, and he’d be euthanized if he wasn’t adopted in a certain amount of time. Michigan Cat Rescue, a no-kill rescue group, heard about Honeycake and knew they had to help him. So they pulled him from the shelter to give him a second chance at life.
Honeycake was so happy and extremely affectionate. He waited day after day for a loving family to adopt him, and it finally came true! A nurse named Renee met him and it was love at first sight.
She lifted him up in her arms, and he snuggled up against her and gave her licks and kisses. They were definitely meant to be! Renee renamed him Finnegan and says he will receive nothing but lots of love and kisses.
